DeLonghi Filter pack

This item is far too expensive, but not the seller's fault; it's packaged in a ridiculously large box, which also makes shipping expensive and only comes with a new filter container which is totally unnecessary. This is the most negative aspect of the DelOnghi coffee pot, which has changed markedly from when they first were made, unfortunateley. I don't fault the seller in this. Also, the picture attached is not the filter, but rather a carafe lid (which is also poor design and leaks).

Braun's the Best!

We've had different coffee pots over the years but none of them make coffee as well as Braun. I couldn't find Braun coffee makers locally but was pleased to find one on Amazon at a good price.

Best thing about this filter is the price. Sears has it listed for at least $45 (I paid $42 six years ago at Sears). I am loving Amazon these days!

Pricey Filters!

These filters are designed for the Capresso ST600 only. Whether you choose to use them or not is optional - the coffee maker works fine without them. I bought them to remove the chlorine from my city tap water. According to Capresso, each filter is good for about six weeks or 80 pots of coffee. They work well, but are over-priced IMHO.
