But the spout is badly designed, is small with no downward slant, so the coffee dribbles when you pour. You have to pour slowly and keep a paper towel underneath. Even the stainless steel Medelco carafe has the same problem. You'd think somebody in the company would pour coffee from the decanter before putting it up for sale. Guess not.
