The pouring lip of the replacement carafe is much better than the original carafe that came with the coffeemaker. The original carafe would drip and leak when pouring from a full carafe. The new one does not do this. I would have broken the old one a long time ago if I had known it had been improved! Worth purchasing if you have this problem. as expectedThere's not much to say, it's a glass replacement carafe, it fits. This is our 3rd one, I guess we should be more careful when washing them. Perhaps it is a bit thin, as we haven't broken other glass items.
