My coffeepot appears to have the same features as this one except for the TimeControl. I can not find out if my model is still available. Initially I read positive reviews and was quite pleased with it. I had owned a Braun coffee pot previously for 18 years with no problems until the heating element went out. This new coffeemaker, however, has developed a series of problems so severe that I am going to throw it out. Initially the coffee started tasting bitter, especially if not poured as soon as it was made. Then the "pause and pour" feature quit, and I noticed the coffeepot started dripping whenever I poured from it. The most recent change is that the filter basket swings out while the coffee is brewing, every time!! I won't buy Braun again.Great Coffee Maker and Great Sales TransactionThis coffee maker has been discontinued by Braun. So, it was nice to find it thru Amazon.com. The purchase process was fast and easy and the coffee maker was shipped immediately. It was packed very well and arrived in perfect condition. I am thinking about ordering a second one for future use!!I was disappointed.I was not satisfied with the quality of the Braun. I've been a devout Braun user for 25 years.When the box arrived with 2 purchased Braun coffee makers the carton was wet and had soaked through to the product boxes. I wish I could return them and find two Brauns of an earlier model manufactured in the 1990's. Liked itI needed a new coffee maker quick. It was the right size and works well. It makes really good coffee and I like the gold mesh filter that comes with it. No paper filters. It's easy to use and the pot has a nice non-slip handle.
