As a Barista, I would have to rank the tamper at a "D". Here are the issues:1.It does not quite fit the machine Amazone recomends for it. 2. It is not very heavy and seems to be made cheaply from a mold(?) If the tamper was used with a bigger machine it may fit. In regards of weight... maybe it is personal preference but the tamper does not carry a good amount of weight. Nice TamperNice tamper, works well. Having it double sided gives you a nice, flat surface to apply pressure with, making it easier to tamp evenly and comfortably. Looks nice + works well + comfortable to use = good tamper.TamperWorks fine for the price. Surprised by how light it is considering it is a solid chunk of aluminum. Would have prefer SS if I can find one that's reasonablly priced.Great tamperSolid, good looking, well constructed, inexpensive. I bought this to use with my Breville 800ESXL which uses a smaller than normal portafilter.
