Don't need to g ointo details since there are so many reviews. It has been great. My one complaint, and it is so very minor, is that while it is tall enough for travel mugs, it isn't tall enough for travel carafes/thermoses. But adjusting the height could make it gargantuan.I am in love!!I have had the basic Brewstation for a few years, and really liked it. I saw this one on Amazon, and quickly became intrigued with the "Iced Coffee" bit. I read the reviews, and I wasn't sure I wanted to spend this much on a coffee maker. I soon convinced myself that it would save me money in the long run as I wouldn't be buying an Iced Coffee at Dunkin Donuts everytime I went out.Save me money it does! It makes an excellent cup of hot coffee (I really like the fact that it has a 1-4 cup setting), and does an excellent job on the Iced Coffee also. It brews quickly, and I have to say it's as good as Dunkin Donuts! I use regular Folgers (or Hazelnut, depending on the mood), and it really is good. I keep a few cups/lids/straws from the old days of buying Iced Coffee, and use those when traveling. Overall, I am so glad I bought this Brewstation. I have found nothing negative to say so far, and I've been using it for about a month. The only thing I don't particularly care for is the permanent filter as it's a bit messy to empty. I use a paper filter in it, and it's all good. Great Unit!After a horrible experience with the Hamilton Beach 48465 BrewStation, I contacted the manufacturer and was steered in the direction of the 47545. This one they did right.
