I ran out of filters and had just cleaned my pot with white vinegar and gone away for a few days leaving my coffee maker clean and I thought great to make that fresh pot of coffee when I got home. I forgot to install a new filter and my husband made the coffee. The wonderful taste of our coffee was gone---all we could taste was rubber. I dumped the coffee and installed the new filter and was once again impressed by the difference the filter makes. Also some people had complained about this particular vendor but I must say they shipped promptly and everything was as described and originally boxed.
