This is okay, it does leave small white particles in the water before it is being filtered.

Fits the original PUR pitcher!

I've been using this Mavea filter for over 2 months, I have the original model of the PUR pitcher and it fits just as good as the OEM PUR filters do.

The Mavea seems to filter the water better than the PUR, especially when it's just about time to change out to a new one.

I also like the fact I don't have to take time to soak a new filter, but it is recommended to run through 2 pitchers of water through before drinking one.
